Good luck to all Ettingshall and Wolverhampton schools

(Pictures taken pre Covid-19) Good luck to all the schools in Ettingshall and Wolverhampton who are returning this week.

One of the most worrying reports that I’ve read last week is here: https://www.expressandstar.com/…/poorest-youngsters…/

Disadvantaged youngsters in the Black Country are more than 18 months behind their better-off peers by the time they sit their GCSEs.

This is extremely concerning, I know that schools in my ward will be doing everything they can to bridge that gap.

It’s a tough job and I hope the Government do everything they can to support local schools with the task ahead.

Educational inequality limits opportunities and diminishes chances in life. We should all be passionate about tackling it.
