Joining Ettingshall’s first street watch

Earlier this year, I joined local people who had a passion for keeping their community safe by launching Ettingshall’s first streetwatch.

I was pleased to join two officers on our first one since the lockdown recently.

Street watch is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live.

Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe, including just walking round your neighbourhood, which can really help.

The local police have been extremely supportive in helping us set this up.

The great thing about living in Ettingshall as well as representing the area as a Councillor is really having the ability to feel and be part of the community.

We’re really passionate about keeping our community safe and I’m pleased this has taken off.

A huge thanks to the officers for their efforts in reigniting this project after lockdown.
