Last week was ‘Get Online’ week, as the Digital Champion for the city, I was pleased to speak to a local resident who is benefiting from our joint work with local partners to assist residents to get online.
I’m pleased to be working on a number of initiatives which will help more residents get online and become more digitally connected.
Our WV lending scheme and schools data connectivity project are a few initiatives that I’m currently leading on which are helping the city of Wolverhampton become a digitally inclusive city. Both devices and data connectivity are two key areas of focus for me, especially amid the pandemic which has accelerated a shift towards both working and learning digitally.#WVOnlineLendingScheme #GetOnlineWeek
