Proud to be a panelist on Labour’s Connected Conference

Today, I was pleased to be a panellist on The Labour Party’s Connected Conference where I was invited to share my experiences with members across the country on how we can support our communities in the new normal.

I was so proud to represent an incredible Labour Group that has led our Council to:

– Deliver 1.5M food parcels across Wolverhampton during the pandemic.

– Raise over £85,000 for the One City Fund for foodbanks, homelessness and digital inclusion.

– Help 3,800 local businesses access £43.5M in vital grant funding and £30M of business rates relief.

I was pleased to share some of my own projects including the Back to School Project and partnership with Excel Church’s food bank.

Wolverhampton’s Labour Council is committed to relighting our city through: supporting people who need us most, creating more opportunities for young people, generating more job, growing our vital local businesses and stimulating vibrant high streets and communities.#ProudToBeWolves?
