Marking #WorldMentalHealth2021 with HeadStart Wolverhampton and the amazing Positive Participation Ltd.
We are so lucky to have both of these organisations in Wolverhampton providing fantastic mental health services to both young people and adults in the city.
Today was led by the incredible Gurbax Kaur to make it her life mission to work tirelessly to campaign for better mental health resource and services both in the Midlands and nationally.
The message Gurbax gave today was ‘let’s talk’. And the importance of taking time out to talk to friends, colleagues, partners etc to allow a space to share how they’re feeling.
Today’s event was held at the wonderful Howell Road Allotments in Ettingshall, and what better place than the great outdoor space provided to plot-holders. Many who said that their plots were a lifeline for their mental health during COVID. A fantastic day!
