October school holiday events

Following the success of the city-wide Summer Festival of activities for children, I’m delighted to announce plans for events during the October school holidays.

It promises to be a fun-filled week for children, young people and their families across Wolverhampton, with everything from holiday clubs to sports, outdoor activities, craft days, family fun days, digital events and much more. There will also be a range of activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The council is now calling on local organisations to get involved and to submit details of any activities or events they are holding during half-term via https://orlo.uk/J1usV so they can be included for free on the Yo! website, www.yowolves.co.uk.

The Yo! website will bring together the very best events and activities taking place in Wolverhampton for children and young people this half-term and I urge local organisations to submit details of their events, whether they are free or paid for, so we can give our young people an extensive programme to keep them active, entertained and educated this half-term.
