Today is International Day of Inclusion and what better way to spend it than with Wolverhampton Mayor and the talented ‘Hit the Dhol’ drumming group to celebrate Diwali.
They are an incredible organisation and their drumming workshops have not only created budding and talented musicians but they build young people’s confidence too.
Out of Darkness, Cometh Light is our city motto and the children and parents tonight all reminded us of the message which Diwali carries- the triumph of light over darkness.
Thank you to Tony and everyone involved tonight and I cannot wait to see the group perform again!
