Last week, I was really pleased to join Wolverhampton’s Fairtrade Partnership at their AGM at the City of Wolverhampton College.
A huge thanks to retiring Chair, Dr Barbara Gwinnett for her dedication to the partnership and cause for over a decade. And, a huge congratulations to incoming Chair, Julia Farrell who will do an amazing job.
Fairtrade is about better prices, safe working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers who produce many of the items we consume daily. I’m hugely proud of all the work of our Wolverhampton Fair Traid Partnership for championing this.
