Having Foundry GYM help spread the Christmas joy

This year, I’ve teamed up with the 2020 Sikh Toy Appeal to ensure that children in Wolverhampton don’t go without a Christmas present to open under the tree this year.

Not only have I supported them with a £400 donation from my ward funds but I’m actively collecting donations of toys for their appeal and I’m so pleased to have Foundry GYM Wolverhampton on board.

Up until Friday 18th December, Foundry Gym will be collecting (brand new) toys for the charity on their reception.

The independent gym owner Nicky Forrester has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic but he’s still done his bit to ensure that the business support local community initiatives.

They collected thousands of items for my free school meal project which supported food banks and local families, and, I can’t thank them enough for supporting this toy appeal for Wolverhampton children.

If you’re a Foundry Gym member, pick up a new toy whilst you’re out shopping and drop it in to a box on reception on your way in.

The collection will be going on until Friday 18th December.
