Last year, we marked the 70th anniversary of the birth of the NHS. Remembering that this is a time to celebrate not only the birth of the NHS but the development of it over the years.
Along with Councillor Russell, we visited Ettingshall Medical Practice in my ward to meet staff, thank them for their incredible contributions and to take a look around the facility.
As part of the Primary Care Vertical Integration scheme, Ettingshall Medical Centre is one of nine GP Practices in Wolverhampton which are now part of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust who have direct responsibility for the delivery of care.
Mandy Hands, the practice manager speaks highly of the Vertical Integration scheme and spoke of better communication methods, better patient care and fantastic staff development opportunities since the change two years ago.
A big thank you to all the NHS staff across the country working tirelessly to keep our country safe, well and healthy.
