I often visit schools in my ward and visited Bilston C of E Primary School.
It was great to see how the school acts as a ‘community school’ engaging with various aspects of the community. As well as providing fantastic teaching and education for its pupils, the school pioneers in sport, charity and well-being opportunities for children too.
It is also a ‘Fairtrade’ school and they support the Fairtrade Foundation by assisting young people to learn that, whatever their age, they have the power to make a difference in the world.
This was a great visit to fantastic school in my ward.
