Last week, I assisted Excel Church in their summer family meal day where they have recognised that many children and families go hungry over the summer period. With the help of the Sikh Toy Appeal, Julia and the Homeless Period Wolverhampton, we were able to ensure they had much needed items for families in the area who were struggling.
I’ve teamed up with the Sikh Toy Appeal and we’ll be running a ‘back to school’ stall at their next event on 6th August from 12PM – 2PM. Families in need will be able to come and get essential back to school items such as backpacks, water bottles and stationary.
At the same time, for any parents who have had children leave Bilston C of E Primary School this year and might want to donate it to a family in the area then please message me and I will collect it.
If you know any families in need, please tell them to come along to Excel Church, Wolverhampton Street, WV14 OLT on Tuesday 6th August 12-2 for a meal, children’s games and back to school equipment!
