It was an honour to join War Veterans, City leaders and over 300 schoolchildren (amongst others) at today’s Poppy Remembrance event with Wolverhampton City Council.
It was a really special event to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and really moving to see different generations come together to remember those who have gone before us.
Each child was carrying a poppy on which they had written the name of someone from Wolverhampton who died during the First World War. #LestWeForget
