I was really pleased to join MP Pat McFadden at the Wolverhampton Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Support Group recently.
We were able to hear first-hand from local members who shared their experiences about the provision of services in the region and across the country.
I was particularly pleased to hear about this group’s support for children and young people in our city who have sickle cell and I am keen to support them more in this area.
