Tonight, I chaired my first meeting in my Jackie Weaver t-shirt, and guess what … I read the standing orders and understood them.
Jokes aside, we had a great Governor’s meeting tonight with the Teaching and Learning Committee ahead of the return of children to the school on 8th March.
The school have been working extremely hard to support the children of keyworkers and vulnerable children in school whilst also providing remote learning to those at home.
I’m confident that we have a thorough ‘catch up’ program in place for when the children return to school in the coming weeks.
Well done to all the staff, parents and Governors who have supported the school over the last 12 months to ensure that children have been kept in education remotely.
