Our Labour Council believes that Wolverhampton should be a cleaner and greener place to live and work. But what does that mean for ordinary working people in the city?
We’ve invested in a Europe-leading solar energy project to provide 100% green energy to New Cross. This will put Wolverhampton on the map as a leader in city-led energy development and save our NHS hospital up to £15m on their energy bills.
But we haven’t stopped there. We’ve already planted 33,000 more trees in our green spaces, and are converting our entire council fleet to electric vehicles.
Every day we are working hard to clean up our city, so that Wulfrunians can live longer and happier lives.
