What I’ve been up to since getting elected…

It’s our Ettingshall Labour AGM today, in preparation for the AGM I’ve been looking back on the last 11 weeks as a Councillor. It really is such an honour to have been selected to represent the ward, I feel really blessed. And this is just some of the stuff that I’ve been up to with my colleagues in the ward:

– Casework for constituents ranging from; speeding, pest control issues and the most common issue in the ward which is fly tipping.

– Charity events including supporting Cardiac Risk in the Young and the Rotary Club of Bilston & Wolverhampton West.

– Supporting local schools and nurseries in Ettingshall.

– NHS 70 Campaign in Ettingshall.

– Armed Forces Day & Black Country Day.

– Site checks with Wolverhampton Homes on their properties in Ettingshall.

– Vibrant and Sustainable Scrutiny Panel where we’ve been looking at the Waste Strategy for the city.

And much more, have a read of my report attached.
