What inspired me to become a councillor

I became a Councillor because I believe in justice and fairness.

When working with homeless young people at the YMCA Black Country Group in Wolverhampton, I could see the issues facing young people, and the effects of policy on young people that lived on the streets.

It was one of the privileges of my life to work for this life-changing charity, which transforms the lives of young people.

If you care about justice and want to make a difference in your community too, why not attend our ‘becoming a Councillor’ event next week. More information here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/…/be-a-councillor…
