Supporting Wolves Tech Aid

I’m a big supporter of Wolves Tech Aid which has been set up by the LearnPlay Foundation. It has backing from Pat McFadden MP, Corin Crane and Wolverhampton’s very own Sathnam Sanghera.

Like them, I can see such value in the work this project does in restoring unused, disused or in some cases broken laptops, desktops and tablets. Once restored to an impeccable condition, they get these devices out to children in the city that need them.

Wolverhampton Council are so pleased to be supporting this initiative because we know the difference it will make in ensuring that no child’s education depends on their internet connection.

Already the project has distributed devices to children across the city to help with the learning as they’ve returned to school.

I’ve donated some of my ward funds to the project and I’d encourage you, if you can, to support this initiative with either a monetary donation or if you have an old laptop or tablet lying around, the team will take it off you.
