I’m thrilled to see that work on the new park off Ward Street in Ettingshall has started and local residents’ vision is coming to life.
I’ve been working closely with both Cllr Steve Evans and officers at the Council to bring to life a wonderful park and play area in Ettingshall.
We held a consultation last year where we listened to what families in the area wanted to see on the green space on the development just off Ward Street / Northolt Drive.
Through our hard work, almost £800,000 will be spent on the area. Families in the area highlighted that they wanted a play area for children, a variety of trees, shrubs, flowering plants, grassed areas and wild flowers amongst other things.
We will also have an outdoor gym on the park. Our Labour Council will continue to deliver on this vital development for the local area.
