This weekend, I attended the General Federation of Trade Unions (GTFU) young members development weekend.
It was great to represent my union, Community union and meet truly inspiring young trade unionists from across the country.
I was particularly thrilled to meet those working in the steelworks, in shoe manufacturing and those from probation.
It was a very interesting weekend where we got a chance to develop our learning in order to become more effective trade unionists and understand how best we can work with the challenges faced in various sectors at the moment.
A truly inspiring weekend and a pleasure to meet some leaders of the future.
