I’m really pleased to have recently presented the Ettingshall Neighbourhood Policing team with a cheque for £411.00

I heard about their wonderful junior PCSO scheme which was set to be rolled out across Ettingshall.

The scheme is aimed to help children become aware of issues around them and to take ownership and pride in resolving them, such as advising local residents on parking issues.

It is a fantastic way of them building relationships with the local policing team as well as helping them take ownership of local issues affecting their school and local neighbourhood.

I utilised Ettingshall Ward Funds- funds which have been made available from the Labour Council to support this project.

The scheme is a great way to ensure that children become active citizens in their local area and with a little help from the Council’s Ettingshall ward funds, we’ve been able to make this project a success for local children and schools.

The £411.00 allocated will provide the local policing team with the correct equipment and uniform to deliver the scheme in local schools.

I’m a proud school Governor at Bilston C of E Primary School and the scheme has already had uptake from this school as well as many others in the area.
