In June, I held an advice surgery on Sedgemoor Park where I had the chance to speak to local residents and they were able to raise issues with me.
One issue which came up was that some people had been feeding pigeons on the estate. In response to this, I have had some ‘no feeding pigeons’ signs installed on the estate to warn the culprits of the dangers and penalties of feeding pigeons.
Pigeon droppings can lead to disease, damage to buildings and slippery pavements as well as being a general nuisance and unsightly.
I am pleased to have assisted local residents on this issue and I’d like to thank the City of Wolverhampton Council for their support on this issue.
