I was thrilled to visit Pallet-Track Ltd in my ward today. It was great to meet with the staff and their managing director Nigel Parkes.
Pallet Track have grown from strength to strength since moving in to the ward in 2008. The employ over 150 local people. It was apparent from spending time at their offices today that staff there feel valued and appreciated.
It was great to have spent time with the business today learning more about what they do but also about how they are contributing to our ward and city.
Nigel seems to have got it right when it comes to corporate social responsibility and I hope other businesses follow suit.
