ATTENTION ALL ETTINGSHALL RESIDENTS!We want your views on what a new park should look like and include in Ettingshall.We have plans to develop a green area of recreational parkland on the currently fenced off open space bordering Ward Street, Coningsby Drive and Northolt Drive (the new estate off Ettingshall Road and Ward Street).Funding has been provided by the developers of the surrounding properties. Our proposals include the following:• A network of paths to give local residents access through attractive landscaped parkland containing a variety of trees, shrubs, flowering plants, grassed areas and wild flowers. • A children’s play area containing a range of modern, vibrant play equipment suitable for a wide range of ages and ability levels.• A multi-use games area, providing opportunities for activities including basketball and five-a- side football within a fenced court.• Outdoor gym equipment to give local residents an opportunity to improve their fitness levels. • Suitable perimeter fencing and seating.The full plans and proposed layout can be viewed on the Council’s website here: https://consultation.wolverhampton.gov.uk/ and you can view the proposed plans and make suggestions!We very much look forward to improving this area of open space for local residents to enjoy and look forward to hearing your views on this.
