February half-term activities

February half-term is coming up and I’m really pleased to be leading on ensuring that there are a range of activities are available for children to take part in during the holidays!

The half-term break promises to be a fun-filled week, with a range of events taking place from a range of sports and outdoor activities, craft and drama activities, music and film making plus family fun days and a selection of activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The City of Wolverhampton Council is calling all local organisations to get involved and to submit details of their activities or events which can be included in the Yo! February half-term offer for children and young people.

The Yo! holiday programme is designed to deliver a range of fun activities for children and young people of all ages and abilities, with thousands of youngsters and their families taking part.

Local organisations which are holding events of their own this half-term are encouraged to submit details so they can be featured on the Yo! Wolves website, www.yowolves.co.uk, for free. Organisations simply need to visit

http://www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/yo-february-holiday… as soon as possible and, if suitable, they will be included on the website.

We’ve already received details of many fantastic events to include on the Yo! Wolves website, but we want even more so we can ensure the programme is as big as possible and keeps our young people active, entertained and educated!
