Enough is enough: UK needs to condemn the actions of the Israeli Government

I have been watching the situation unfold in Palestine with horror and deep sadness.

Many will know that I’ve visited the Middle East a number of times.

As we watch the brutality aimed at Muslim worshippers at the Al-Aqsa mosque, air strikes on Palestinian territory and the forced displacement of families living in Sheikh Jarrah, I think of the innocent children I met on my travels in Palestine.

Their innocence, how terrified they and their parents are as rockets rain down.

When I was last there, we visited a village similar to Sheikh Jarrah where they were using terrifying measures of violence to displace the families living in this village. It ranged from violence to releasing sewage on the villagers as they slept.

Enough is enough. But, rather than thoughts and prayers we need the UK Government to condemn the actions of the Israeli government.

We cannot look at the pictures and in the eyes of these children without taking action in order to give them hope for the future. ??
