Elderly people in our community have been let down by this Government. And, now with the winter months here and energy prices rising, we must look after our pensioners more than ever.
That’s why I’ve teamed up with Councillor Linda Leach who has led a project with John from Excel Church and Nishkam Devine Service.
They’ve provided hundreds of food boxes and fleecy blankets for our pensioners and this weekend, I ensured that they were delivered to pensioners in Ettingshall.
In addition, the Emma Bussey Trust has provided £5 vouchers for pensioners to use at Bilston Market to give them a little help with their shopping this Christmas.
