So, yesterday I was involved in an anti-knife crime campaign in Wolverhampton alongside colleagues. Alison Cope spoke from the heart about the tragic death of her young son Joshua who was stabbed to death.
She now dedicates her time to raising awareness about knife crime and educating young people and professionals alike.
Sadly, at the same time, this morning we learn of yet another stabbing in Wolverhampton at 5AM:
We must do more around education, policy, parenting, policing and other areas to resolve this.
